The EPL TOTS Predictions, with a number of the big names from the league likely, who else has stood out this season to merit a TOTS?

GOALKEEPER

Alisson – GK – OVR 89  He often doesn’t have much to do but when he does he has made some magnificent saves and has saved Liverpool several points this season. They could even have still been in Europe if he was able to play. Although there have been other keepers which have performed well this season I can’t see Alisson not featuring here especially with his TOTY card a major reason for it.

DEFENDERS

Trent Alexander-Arnold – RB – OVR 83 Trent actually comes second in the assist standings this season with an impressive 12 alongside his name. You just can’t deny the talent and dominance that Trent is likely to bring at RB in years to come.

Virgil Van Dijk – CB – OVR 90 Virgil is now known as the best defender in the world at them moment and theres good reason for that. He was the rock at the back for Liverpool this season, rarely being beaten and helping Liverpool to a defensive record of 21 goals conceded in 29 games, a tally which rarely gets beaten. The best thing about VVD is that he shows up in the big games though, scoring some crucial goals for Liverpool in their practically title winning season.

Caglar Soyuncu – CB – OVR 79 It was always going to be a difficult task to fulfil the shoes of Maguire but Soyuncu has done superbly at the back for Leicester this season. The Turkish defender has played a large role in Leicester’s defensive record, which currently stands at less goals conceded than games played.

Andrew Robertson – LB – OVR 85 Liverpool continue the defensive structure. He has seven assists from LB and with Trent on set pieces it becomes harder for him to increase that tally, meaning seven is a high figure for that position. He managed to find himself in TOTY which will inevitably result in a TOTS item following suit.

MIDFIELDERS

Sadio Mane – LW – OVR 88 In the Premier League he has picked up 14 goals and seven assists this season, making him one of the stand out players yet again and looks set for another TOTS.

Kevin De Bruyne – CM – OVR 91 KDB has been one of their main players for several seasons now and injury free he is arguably the best central midfielder in the world. With 16 assists to his name he currently leads the Premier League for that statistic, doing what he does best. In addition to that he has also found the back of the net eight times, which results in 24 goal contributions in just 26 appearances.

Jordan Henderson – CM – OVR 83 While many feel he may not deserve in, he is hard to ignore. Although he isn’t among the goals that often the role he plays is important for Liverpool, I just think that several other players would do it better.

Mohamed Salah – RW – OVR 90 Salah has had some quiet spells this season but when the Egyptian is in form there is no stopping him, making him one of the best players in the world right now. With 16 goals and 6 assists he currently sits one contribution ahead of Mane. Who is better I will leave that one to you guys to decide.

FORWARDS

Sergio Aguero – ST – OVR 89  Agureo has scored 16 goals this season can you really ignore him for a TOTS side? I don’t think so personally. He still remains one of the most talented strikers around as he looks to make his 7th TOTS in nine years for Manchester City.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – ST – OVR 88 Aubameyang has been moved around position wise this season which perhaps makes it all that more impressive that he regularly performs well for them. The majority of his matches have seen him play in the striker role though and thus any item he picks up should occupy that position. The Gabon international has managed 17 goals in his 26 starts, leaving him second in the golden boot race.

SUBSTITUTES

Dean Henderson – GK – OVR 75 There are a few goalkeepers in with a shout of this position but Henderson surely has to be the best bet. Most expected Sheffield United to be facing relegation before the start of the season yet they are challenging for European places as things stand. Their defensive side of the game has played a significant role in that success with the newly promoted outlet only conceding 25 games in the 28 games they have played. Quite remarkable when you think about it.

Ricardo Pereira – RB – OVR 82 This position was between two players in my eyes with Aaron Wan Bissaka being the alternate player missing out. I think it’s difficult to ignore Pereira though who has once again played a big role for Leicester this season, at both ends of the field. Although his three goals and two assists is not exactly groundbreaking he provides a constant threat down the right hand side while also providing exceptional defensive cover.

Wilfried Ndidi – CDM – OVR 84 Ndidi has been superb for Leicester throughout, providing the cover needed in front of the defensive. He deserves all the plaudits he gets and at just 22 years of age he has a strong future ahead of him.

Marcus Rashford – ST- OVR 83 I am confident that Rashford’s main position should be in the striker role rather than out on the left, where is where he has spent the vast majority of this season and we’re going with the hope he is ST for his TOTS Card. That being said the Englishman has performed to a high standard. Arguably being United’s main player this season, before the Bruno era at least. With 14 goals and 4 assists to his name Rashford walks in on stats alone but he does deserve to be there, standing out in what is another mediocre season for United.

Adama Traore – RW – OVR 77 Traore is not as clear cut as many make out for this side for me but he is the fringe player that I lean towards. There is a lot of media hype surrounding him after several big performances and although his stats dont impress that much with four goals and seven assists you have to remember that he started the season in a defensive role. Theres a good reason as to why many clubs are now looking at the Spaniard though.

Raul Jimenez – ST – OVR 80 There are numerous strikers lurking around the 15 goal mark this season and it can be difficult to decide between them but in the end I opted for the Wolves striker as he has been consistent through the whole season rather than going on an impressive goalscoring streak while being quiet for the rest. In total the Mexican has 13 goals and 6 assists for a Wolverhampton side who are once again chasing the European positions.

Jamie Vardy – ST – OVR 85 The hype surrounding Vardy this season is nothing on that of the title winning Leicester side but what he has managed this season is just as impressive. The Englishman currently leads the golden boot race with 19 goals in the 26 games he has featured in, making him one of the main reasons that Leicester currently sit in the Champions League positions.

RESERVES

Mateo Kovacic – CM – OVR 82 Chelsea deserve at least 1 TOTS, the big question is who gets the spot and who misses out, while Kante has a TOTY, he may not get a TOTS, while Abraham has been impressive, the most likely appears to be Kovacic and with him having a Storyline card too, the boost on this TOTS could make him very appealing.

Enda Stevens – LWB – OVR 77 Sheffield United have been class this season and it will be unfair on a few of the team to potentially miss out on a TOTS, especially as they were touted for relegation, but could be looking at European football, Stevens has been key at the back as with Egan, Henderson and therefore don’t be surprised to see 1 of the Sheffield United back line feature.

James Maddison – CM – OVR 82 As with Vardy & Ndidi, Maddison’s form this season has been a key reason for Leicester in the position they are in. As a result feel it is difficult to ignore him.

Heung Min Son – LM – OVR 87 Heung Min Son’s season has been largely overshadowed by a few moments of madness which have seen him pick up several red cards this season but when the Korean has been on the field there is no denying just how good he has been. He has played in various positions and has by far been Spurs best player throughout the year. Nine goals and seven assists is what he has on paper and with several stand out moments I am surprised to see him lacking in most predictions.

Danny Ings – ST – OVR 76 To put into perspective of how important Danny Ings has been to Southampton this season, Southampton have only managed 35 goals and Ings has contributed to 16 of them. WIth the Saints sitting seven points ahead of relegation I am confident in saying that he has been the deciding factor in their fate this season.
