The Serie A TOTS Predictions, with a number of the big names from the league likely, who else has stood out this season to merit a TOTS?

GOALKEEPER
Samir Handanovic – GK – OVR 88 While GKs are a little tricky to say determine best 3 or 4 shouts, the one who may miss out is Sirigu but Handanovic has been key in net for Inter this season as challenge for the title.
DEFENDERS
Theo Hernandez – LB – OVR 76 Hernandez has made LB his own at Milan and despite the odd negative moment, his general performances have been consistent and has earned them a numberof points as a result, this TOTS Card could prove to be very popular.
Leonardo Bonucci – CB – OVR 86 With Chiellini being the rock in the middle of Juventus’s defensive for the past decade, he was always likely to be missed with him being injured this season. Bonucci has taken the role well though and has helped towards their remarkable defensive record of 24 goals conceded in 26 games played.
Francesco Acerbi- CB – OVR 83 Lazio currently holds the best defensive record in the division with only 23 goals being conceded from their 26 matches played. Acerbi has been the stand out player in that back line and deserves a spot in the TOTS.
Juan Cuadrado – RB – OVR 83 He plays between RB/RM/RW but we’ve gone for him at RB and looks set for a TOTS due to his performances.
MIDFIELDERS
Luis Alberto – CM – OVR 84 With Lazio performing as well as they have this season I am expecting to see a fair few pick up a spot in TOTS. The Spaniard has been their playmaker this season, providing 12 assists in total, resulting in him leading the assist rankings as things stand
Alejandro Gomez – CAM – OVR 85 Onto a familiar face now with Gomez in line for his fourth consecutive TOTS inclusion. Gomez has 6 goals and 10 assists to his name but he has still played a large role in Atalanta’s success this season.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – CM – OVR 85 Milinkovic-Savic is the final of the three with an overall midfielders performance being what gets him the nod over other options. The Serbian has 4 goals and 4 assists to his name which in comparison to others is actually quite good.
FORWARDS
Cristiano Ronaldo – ST – OVR 93 Scored 21 goals, putting him second in the golden boot race and helping Juventus in the league, therefore a TOTS looks academic.
Paulo Dybala – CF – OVR 88 Dybala has had to dig deep from the bench but still had an impressive season when given the chance, as a result we feel he deserves a TOTS.
Ciro Immobile – ST – OVR 86 Immobile ran away with the golden boot in Italy this season, recording an impressive 27 goals during his 26 matches for Lazio. On top of that he has also provided seven assists which in total has seen him provide an attacking contribution in 45% of Lazio’s goals. A crazy statistic to have for a side performing so well which shows just how important the Italian is to the side. Lazio are just one point off the top of league leaders Juventus entering into the quarantine period.
SUBSTITUTES
Wojciech Szczesny – GK – OVR 86 Szczesny has been key for Juventus at times this season and while initially I considered Sirigu the form they have shown since the new year has put me off him. Therefore Szczesny gets the nod as sub GK.
Stefan De Vrij – CB – OVR 84 Inter Milan are another side which hold a fantastic defensive record this season, with just 24 goals conceded in 25 games played. De Vrij has been one of the reasons for this. On top of his defensive contributions he has 2 goals and 3 assists to help his cause.
Domenico Berardi- RW – OVR 78 Berardi has been a big player for Sassuolo for multiple seasons now but is yet to pick up a TOTS item. It looks as though he could finally be about to receive one though after scoring nine goals and assisting another five from the right hand side of the field. While Boga has been equally impressive, especially since the new year, I feel Berardi has been more consistent I feel.
Radja Nainggolan – CAM – OVR 83 Onto a FIFA fan favourite now with Nainggolan. He has joined Cagilari & been key for them this season with 5 goals and 4 assists from CAM this season plus been consistent throughout as a result deserves a spot.
Lautaro Martinez – ST – OVR 84 Lautaro has been key for Inter with 12 goals and 3 assists, while Lukaku looks a strong shout from an Inter forward view, the problem is could both Inter forwards get in especially as Lautaro has multiple special cards, but he should not be ignored regardless.
Josip Ilicic – ST – OVR 84 Atalanta once again performed to a high standard this season, showing that they will be around for a while and want to cement a spot as one of Italy’s main sides. Ilicic once again played a large role in their attacking brilliance, scoring 17 goals and assisting another 5 in the 21 games he featured in. With five performance based special items already this season Ilicic’s TOTS item is going to be a very usable one.
Romelu Lukaku – ST – OVR 85 With the Belgian losing traction for Manchester United they decided to ship him out to Italy, from which Inter Milan happily took him on board. The Belgian has since looked like a completely different player, scoring regularly and developing into one of Inters main players this season. He has registered 17 domestic goals to his name alongside doing well in Europe too. United will be kicking themselves that they couldn’t get Lukaku playing to this standard.
RESERVES
Thomas Strakosha – GK – OVR 82 Have opted for 3 GKs the big question is who gets that spot, for me I feel Strakhosa is most likely for this spot due to how Lazio are playing in relation to AC Milan & Torino with Donnarumma/Sirigu, see what happens though.
Robin Gosens – LWB – OVR 76 Robin Gosens can feel very hard done by for not picking up at least one IF this season, but with the German’s position being the main question it could be a large contributing factor as to why he doesn’t. That being said when it comes to TOTS there is no doubt about it, Gosens should make the side. With seven goals and five assists should get in, the question is will he be LWB or a LM.
Dejan Kulusevski – RW – OVR 70 Parma have done well this season and sit in ninth. There are a couple of options for TOTS contenders within the team, we have opted for Kulusevski who can get the nod with his five goals and seven assists.
Joao Pedro – ST – OVR 76 The reserve ST spot is tough, as could go 1 of several players like Caputo, Dzeko or Zapata but we have gone for Joao Pedro as he has 16 goals this season and feel due to balance out options from teams is a big reason for it.
Mattia Zaccagni – CM – OVR 71 This is a bit of a punt to round us off but Verona deserve a TOTS, the big question is who as Amrabat, Kumbulla & Zaccagni deserve strong mentions, but we have gone with Zaccagni as he has 1 goal & 7 assists, his play in midfield to help the team into the position they have this season is important & as a result deserve a shout.
