A strong scoring week with 15. Which keeps us in a strong position. Can we keep this form up and hopefully continue to be consistent. Big question is which Headliners and Ones To Watch if any will feature this week.

TOTW22 Score – 16/23

GOALKEEPER

Walter Benitez – GK – OVR 80 The Nice keeper made a total of seven saves alongside saving a penalty in their 2-0 win over last place Toulouse to seal a potential SIF.

DEFENDERS

Harry Maguire – CB – OVR 82 Maguire looks likely to pick up his second IF. The defender scored in a 2-0 win be hard to ignore him due to his OTW & with defenders a bit hard to pick on has a shout.

Nicolas Tagliafico – LB – OVR 82 Defenders were few and far between this week and I think that we will see some random inclusions from EA as a result. I’m going with Tagliafico after an assist and a clean sheet and with him having a Headliner may help his cause like Maguire.

Sergi Roberto – RB – OVR 82 Roberto is far from a certainty with a severe lack of defensive options, the fact he scored in a 2-1 win for Barcelona and got a 2 from Marca could secure his spot in the side as it stands out from other options especially the nature of the game too with Getafe currently 3rd.

MIDFIELDERS

Serge Gnabry – LM – OVR 84 He looks set to pick up his SIF though after scoring twice for Munich during their 4-1 away win over Koln.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – CM – OVR 85 He scored one of the two goals and picked up Gazzetta MOTM with an 8/10.

Suso – RW – OVR 82 Although they could only manage one point with a 2-2 draw at home to Espanyol, Suso was crucial for that point, picking up both a goal and an assist and a 3 from Marca.

Nicolas Pepe – RM – OVR 83 He got himself a goal and two assists during the 4-0 victory to seal a SIF.

Gerard Moreno – RM – OVR 81 Moreno picked up both a goal and an assist in Villarreal’s 2-1 win which I can see being enough for his third IF.

FORWARDS

Heung Min Son – ST – OVR 87 Son was given the chance to lead away at Villa and took it with both hands, scoring twice in their 3-2 away win.

Wout Weghorst- ST – OVR 81 The Dutch forward scored all three of the goals sealing his spot.

SUBSTITUTES

Matheus – GK – OVR 76  The Braga stopper made 3 saves in their shock 1-0 win over Benfica, claiming MOTM with an 8/10 for doing so.

Achraf Hakimi – RWB – OVR 79 Dortmund look set for another IF after running riot the question is who and Hakimi’s position is under debate but we hope he’ll be a RWB than a RM but he got 2 assists and a 2 from Kicker which may do enough.

Florian Neuhaus – CM – OVR 78 Monchengladbach look set for 1 too, big question is will Neuhaus or Stindl get in, both got 1.5 from Kicker, Stindl 2 goals to Neuhaus 1, but Neuhaus got MOTM which has swung it for us.

Steven Berghuis – RW – OVR 80 He looks set to pick up his second IF of the year after scoring twice and assisting another in Feyenoord’s 4-3 away win over Zwolle.

Mats Rits – CM – OVR 75 The midfielder scored both of Brugge’s goals in their 2-1 home win.

Carlos Tevez – ST – OVR 78 The veteran Argentine scored twice and assisted another for Boca Juniors this weekend during a 4-0 away win.

Abderrazak Hamdallah – ST – OVR 79 He added another three to his tally this week during a 4-2 away win to secure a SIF.

RESERVES

Kristoffer Nordfelt – GK – OVR 72 Nordfelt managed to make a very impressive 12 saves to help hold onto a 1-0 win. Could we see 3 GKs this week again?

Charles Vernam – RW – OVR 57 With the English lower divisions playing twice this week, it was also likely that we would see a hat trick or two. And although Vernam’s fell on a Tuesday night, I can still see him getting the nod from EA. The Englishman scored all three of Grimsby’s goals in their closely contested 3-2 away win over Colchester. One of his goals alone would merit a spot in the TOTW for how impressive he was.

Alan Judge – CAM – OVR 66 Sticking with the EFL Judge was phenomenal during Ipswich’s 4-1 win over Burton, scoring twice and assisting another, while someone else could get the nod it’s hard to ignore him.

Paolo Bartolomei – CM – OVR 70 This one is a gamble but lack of hat-tricks may help here as Bartolomei got himself 3 assists from midfield, therefore doing enough to get in.

Ahmed Issa Koro Kone – ST – OVR 65 Finishing off the TOTW we have Kone who came off the bench in Servette’s 4-1 win, it is hard to ignore him The Ivorian was crucial in their 4-1 win, scoring three goals for them.
