Ligue 1 TOTS Predictions – TOTS Neymar, TOTS Mbappe, TOTS Ben Yedder, TOTS Marquinhos

The Ligue 1 TOTS Predictions, with a number of the big names from the league likely, who else has stood out this season to merit a TOTS?

GOALKEEPER

Pedrag Rajkovic – GK – OVR 76 The Reims GK has been a key part of the defensive line and bagged many high ratings for the team this year through L’Equipe as a result he gets the nod in the team.

DEFENDERS

Faitout Maouassa – LB – OVR 73 Maoussa particularly standing out. The young French fullback has three goals and an assist alongside helping them to only concede 24 goals this season, joint with PSG for the second best record in the division and getting Rennes to third in the league.

Yunis Abdelhamid – CB – OVR 76 He is the only Reims player to have played every game this season so far and has lead the line superbly, gaining the highest average rating by quite some distance and even scoring 3 goals.

Thiago Silva – CB – OVR 87 The Brazilian has perhaps been less impressive than other seasons but I feel that he has still done enough to feature in TOTS despite this, he also seems to always bag a TOTS too.

Marquinhos – CB – OVR 86 While may be seen as some to possibly not deserving due to his constant position changes this season, he should still feature, the question is does he get a CB card or CDM.

MIDFIELDERS

Dimitri Payet – LW – OVR 81 Although there was no real challenge to PSG defending the title once again it was Marseille who came the closest, currently sitting twelve points behind them. There are a few players that I feel make the cut for them but Payet is the most clear cut one after scoring nine goals and assisting another four from the left hand side.

Marco Verratti – CM – OVR 86 Verratti is the catalyst for PSG and without him they wouldn’t be able to have so many players attacking for them. He does a lot in front of the defence and will see his latest TOTS.

Neymar – CAM – OVR 92 Scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists despite missing a number of games this season is still hard to ignore. Big question is will he be LW or CAM, especially as his variety of special cards suggest either.

Angel Di Maria – RW – OVR 86 ADM has provided assist after assist this season and currently sits on 14 with 8 goals, sealing his spot as a result.

FORWARDS

Kylian Mbappe – ST – OVR 89 Mbappe has had limited gametime with just 20 matches this season but he still leads the golden boot race with 18 goals. With so many special cards already this will be up there as his best.

Wissam Ben Yedder – ST – OVR 83 While Monaco have not performed again this season Ben Yedder, though has with 18 goals. His TOTS could be a heavily sought after card.

SUBSTITUTES

Steve Mandanda – GK – OVR 80 The veteran GK has been a big reason for Marseille sitting 2nd and as a result a TOTS card looks set for him due to his goalkeeping exploits.

Gabriel – CB – OVR 76 Gabriel is a player who has picked up attention from various clubs around Europe due to his performances this season for Lille. His performances saw him receive an upgrade from EA, who have obviously recognised his talent and as a result deserves a spot in.

Teji Savanier – CM – OVR 79 The central midfielder has held their side together doing jobs at both ends of the pitch. Chipping in with six goals and two assists while also breaking up multiple attacks.

Renato Sanches – CM – OVR 75 Sanches is a name with a lot of hype around him still and with performances like those for Lille its easy to see why. He only has three goals and one assist but his overall performances have been spectacular with him being a joy to watch as he showed before the lockdown as was one of the form players in Ligue 1.

Denis Bouanga – LM – OVR 75 While St Etienne are doing shocking this season compared to reason seasons. There is a fear they could be in a worse spot if weren’t for Bouanga as he’s scored 10 goals and three assists, contributing to almost half of St Etienne’s goals. Without him I dread to think where they would be in the table.

Victor Osimhen – ST – OVR 77 Osimhen has excelled in Ligue 1 this year with scoring 13 goals and providing four assists for Lille and also picked up player of the month for good measure. There is a lot of competition for these last few striker spots but I feel that Osimhen will get the nod over other options.

Andy Delort – ST – OVR 78 He has 9 goals, 3 assists this season, while not as clinical, Montpellier are in a strong position due to his goals.

RESERVES

Pierre Lees-Melou – CM – OVR 77 Nice have shown some impressive form before the lockdown with a number of players standing out including Cyprien, Dolberg and Benitez. Lees-Melou himself though we’ve gone for as he has 5 goals and 6 assists and been consistent all season, as Nice seek to get into Europe.

Kasper Dolberg – ST – OVR 76 Continuing with Nice, Dolberg was one of the quiet transfers that happened last summer as he went from Ajax to Nice and has transitioned well showing why he had a lot of promise on him. He has got 11 goals and 3 assists while bagged 2 IFs too so a TOTS Card could prove appealing.

Raphinha – RM – OVR 79 With Rennes having such an impressive campaign I feel that they must have a couple of players included in the side. The question is who gets in as Niang/Camavinga and Raphinha all have a case, so possibly could feature as SBCs/Objectives too, however we’ve gave Raphinha the nod.

Morgan Sanson – CM – OVR 79 With Marseille looking set to finish in second position this season I would expect to see at least three if not more of their players make the eventual TOTS. Sanson with his Headliner but also consistent form throughout the season, should help his case for a TOTS.

Dario Benedetto – ST – OVR 79 The final spot is up for discussion as could be a number of players but decided to stick with Marseille and go with Benedetto, who has 11 goals and 1 assist this season, he also has 2 IFs, with him making a smooth transition, a TOTS is not out of the question, but he could be ignored for someone else.
