I have to admit that I had a major headache by the end of my SweepSlots review. After all, this is a total nightmare of a sweepstakes casino, and you should avoid it at all costs.
So what you get here is a gaming site that initially looks like it might make giving it a try worth the shot; however, it is actually a complete waste of time. The games here are terrible, the bonuses are catastrophic, and everything else is barely worth mentioning. Still, I’m going to persist and outline why you shouldn’t play here but visit one of my recommended sweeps casinos instead.
Upon loading up the SweepSlots site, I initially thought that things looked positive as it seemed that the brand had a broad range of slots, table games and so on. However, on closer inspection, it seems that there is only a very limited selection of slots with precious little in the way of table games like roulette, blackjack and baccarat.
Ordinarily, that would have been enough to turn me off and make me go somewhere else, like LoneStar Casino, to get a decent way to play. However, that wouldn’t have made for a very long SweepSlots review, and so I stuck around for a bit longer and this is what I discovered about its gaming options:
The first thing that I discovered was just how hard SweepSlots makes it to find and play the actual games. I wanted to play some roulette, so I clicked on the Table Games tab and found nothing but slot games. Then I clicked on the New Games tab to see what the latest additions were and found a bunch of slots that have been around for nearly a decade. Not a great start.
I am not saying that there is anything wrong with slot games, just that most decent sweepstakes casinos have branched out to cover everything from roulette and blackjack through to baccarat, instant-win games and so on. However, it seems that SweepSlots is still stuck in the Dark Ages as it has nothing but a few mediocre slot games. I guess I should have known this from the fairly lame brand name.
All of my favorite sweeps casinos will have games from big name developers who can be counted on to serve up quality gameplay as well as giving you a fair chance of winning. For example, you can go to LoneStar Casino and get to play all of the biggest titles from massive gaming studios like NetEnt. However, what I noticed here is that SweepSlots makes it pretty hard to figure out who the developers are behind its casino game selection. Probably for a very good reason.
SweepSlots proudly says that it has given away well over 60 million Sweeps Coins but there is precious little generosity at this site at the moment.
I found that it was painfully hard to get any kinds of bonuses from the brand and that while there might appear to be some promo offers available, it doesn’t mean that they actually exist in reality. Still it’s only fair that I let you know what’s on offer, so let’s have a closer look:
This is a pretty dodgy bonus to begin with as SweepSlots will try and get you to part with your money as soon as you sign up to the site. Plus you have to remember that SweepSlots has a pretty bad track record for anything to do with payments. Above all, it’s the polar opposite of what you get at LoneStar Casino where you will simply get 500,000 Gold Coins, 105 Sweeps Coins and 1,000 VIP Points just for registering your first account at the sweepstakes casino.
SweepSlots will frequently take to social media to dupe any unsuspecting gamers with some farfetched giveaways of virtual currencies. Again these offers look good on the surface, but they will usually get you to do things like sharing posts and tagging friends and then you will find that you get absolutely nothing in return.
This is a dodgy promo if I ever saw one. The theory is that you get to keep checking into SweepSlots and playing the games as normal and doing so is supposed to get you a spin on the Lucky Spin Wheel. This is supposed to give you a bunch of free credit as a reward, but I must have been touched by bad fortune when spinning the wheel as I never got anything back from it.
This is where SweepSlots does its best to try and look like a legit sweeps casino. What you are supposed to do is to send in a postal request to the brand’s HQ in Delaware and they will then give you some free Sweeps Coins in return. While that is a nice concept, it’s probably just going to cost you a postage stamp and you won’t get any Sweeps Coins or anything else.
It’s worth noting that SweepSlots hasn’t actually bothered to create a mobile app. Ordinarily this wouldn’t be worthy of comment, just that its website is actually a nightmare to use on a mobile. It’s pretty much impossible to do things like play the games, nevermind actually doing more complicated things like trying to purchase Gold Coins packages. Just another reason to give SweepSlots a miss.
I would avoid skipping SweepSlots and be careful about any of the sweepstakes casino sister sites too. This is because Regal Technologies – the brand behind SweepSlots – has been upsetting plenty of people in the gaming industry and this bad form continues with its sweepstakes casinos too.
So don’t let the flashy-looking website and veneer of respectability fool you as SweepSlots is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It says that it is legal in all states apart from Delaware, Idaho, Washington, Nevada, Kentucky, and Michigan, but it’s probably just a matter of time before the brand is outlawed everywhere across the nation. Here’s why:
Thankfully, it seems that SweepSlots isn’t a real money sweepstakes casino and therefore you will only be playing with virtual currencies rather than your own cash. In theory this means that you will be playing with the same dual virtual currency system featured at legit sweeps casinos that should work in the following ways:
While all of this looks good on paper, the sad fact is that SweepSlots fails to do this in reality. After all, you will find it way too difficult to get any free Sweeps Coins, your Gold Coins purchases probably won’t go through, and don’t expect to be able to redeem your Sweeps Coins winnings for prizes either.
Unfortunately it seems that SweepSlots has got a terrible reputation when it comes to anything involving money. This basically means that you should avoid making any of those Gold Coins purchases because the chances are that you won’t get anything in return. Ignore the fact that the brand says that you can make these purchases with trusted credit cards as well as ewallets like Skrill as it simply cannot be trusted.
It looks like the same is true for anyone looking to redeem their Sweeps Coins winnings for prizes. If you somehow manage to win back enough Sweeps Coins to put in a prize redemption request, you could be waiting a long time for that prize to come through, if at all.
On the surface, it may appear that SweepSlots has adequate customer support. However, the reality is much more depressing. This is because I found it absolutely impossible to get any kind of response from the brand.
First I started with the live chat support that was found in the website footer and got no response here. Then I sent the brand a message to its dedicated email address and I am still waiting to hear anything back.
The same applied when attempting to contact SweepSlots via Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). Just so you know, don’t bother wasting your time on the brand’s threadbare FAQ either as you won’t find what you are looking for there.
I hope that you haven’t found this SweepSlots review as painful as I did. After all, I found that this brand basically sucks and it is a far cry from the fun that I had in my DingDingDing review. This is because SweepSlots offers a poor attempt of what a sweepstakes casino can be with a limited selection of games and some dismal promo offers.
I’m not saying that it’s always going to be this bad here, but you shouldn’t waste your time playing at SweepSlots. Instead, sign up to any of the legit sweeps casinos listed on the banners of this page and get a superior way to play.
It’s not entirely clear as the brand won’t say exactly what you will get when signing up to its site for the first time. This is the opposite of what you get at the LoneStar social casino because that brand will give you 500,000 Gold Coins, 105 Sweeps Coins and 1,000 VIP Points just for registering your first account.
No idea, as SweepSlots loves to keep that kind of thing secret. It’s probably pretty poor because everything about this sweepstakes casino is painfully inept.
Lots of people seem to complain that SweepSlots has somehow ripped them off by not paying them the money that they deserve to get. Plus with absent customer support and a squalid selection of casino games, it seems that there is a lot to complain about here.
It doesn’t. You can try and redeem your Sweeps Coins winnings for cash prizes here but you will probably get nothing in return.
It’s probably best that you don’t as the brand will probably just try and rip you off. However, if you are desperate to experience the worst in sweepstakes gaming, it looks like you can sign up to SweepSlots from everywhere in the US except for the states of Delaware, Idaho, Washington, Nevada, Kentucky, and Michigan.
