PSN IDs and Xbox Gamertags are used in match lobbies so you can play your match against your opponent. This records are not part of your public profile and are only displayed to your opponents.
What is a PSN ID?
Your PSN ID is the name shown when you play games online and use other online features on PSN.
Please be aware that:
- it is not possible to link an existing PSN ID to a second account. PSN IDs are unique
- an account cannot have more than one PSN ID associated with it.
- Each PSN ID must contain between three and 16 characters, and can consist of letters, numbers, hyphens (-) and underscores (_).
What is a Xbox Gamertag?
It’s your online alter ego for Xbox. Your gamertag represents you when you’re playing games and sharing with other people in the Xbox community.
Please be aware that:
- it is not possible to link an existing Gamertag to a second account. Gamertags are unique
- an account cannot have more than one Gamertag associated with it.
- Each Gamertag must contain up to 15 characters: Aa-Zz, 0-9, and single spaces. It cannot start with a number and cannot start or end with a space.
How do I change my Gamertag or PSN ID?
Because we treat this values as unique for each user we do not allow changes to your Gamertag or PSN ID. If you made a mistake entering the information you can request one of the admins to make the change for you.
If you didn’t enter your Gamertag or PSN ID during sign up you can add it through your profile page.
- Navigate to your Profile
- Click on “Edit Profile Information”
- Enter your Gamertag or PSN ID
- Click on save changes
- Done you have succesfully added your Gamertag or PSN ID!
