TOTW23 looks to have some individual exciting cards to look forward to while a number of useful cards for us to potentially enjoy, then a number of useful cards to invest in and finally the usual cards that just prove useful for trading and as SBC Fodder.
After a steady set of predictions from myself for TOTW22 can we keep the form up?
TOTW22 Predictions: 14/23
GOALKEEPER
Jan Oblak – GK – OVR 90 The Atletico GK made 6 saves and was all-out impressive for them played a big part in justifying his pick, with lack of standout GKs he deserves the nod.
DEFENDERS
Alex Telles – LB – OVR 84 Defence looks a struggle this week & shown with Telles for 1 assist & a clean sheet, while he had a good match rating, it may not help completely.
Robin Knoche – CB – OVR 75 Wolfsburg keeping the pressure on Euro spots and through Knoche’s goal this may bag him an IF as a result, with lack of defenders and Hinteregger making the cut could see back to back 81 rated Bundesliga IFs.
Alvaro – CB – OVR 79 The Villarreal CB looks set for a SIF which could make even more useable after a goal and clean sheet in 3-0 victory over Sevilla could be a neat card to pack in rewards with right boosts.
MIDFIELDERS
Kingsley Coman – LM – OVR 83 Bayern were made to work hard and if was not for poor goalkeeping from Augsburg this card may not have happened, Coman ran riot with 2 goals and 1 assist and should bag himself an IF.
Kerem Demirbay – CM – OVR 82 The Hoffenheim mid has just bagged a neat upgrade and looks a SIF is inbound too, if got his headliner card the boost may be even more appealing. He got 1 goal and 1 assist in their victory.
Nabil Fekir – CAM – OVR 85 This one is a complete punt due to the lack of Ligue 1 options but an impressive match-rating and his goal may give him a chance, while he’s not a given, could sneak in this week due to lack of marquee options.
Portu – RM – OVR 80 The Girona mid bagged himself a crucial goal and an impressive rating against Real Madrid, usually anyone who has a good performance against Barcelona or Real Madrid can usually bag an IF for good measure.
FORWARDS
Bruno Fernandes – CAM – OVR 83 The Sporting CAM continues to show his worth to the team this time with 1 goal and 1 assist, he was the difference maker throughout and a SIF looks inbound.
Yussuf Poulsen – ST – OVR 79 The Leipzig forward has had an excellent season for them bagging 2 IFs already and looks set for a 3rd with an upgrade in effect too this TIF could be a very interesting alternative to Werner.
Paulo Dybala -CAM – OVR 89 The Juventus CAM looks set for a first IF after an impressive goal and 7.5 on Gazzetta, while usually 1 goal for someone high rated is frowned upon for happening, the performance is what stands out here and a 91 rated IF version of Dybala could be exciting to pack come Thursday Rewards.
SUBSTITUTES
Morales – LM – OVR 81 The Levante LM got 2 goals in their victory and as a result looks an excellent shout for an IF.
Dusan Tadic – CAM – OVR 80 The Ajax CAM proved the difference maker for them with 2 goals and with him at ST may not help his cause for happening but deserved his IF at last.
Sofiane Feghouli – RM – OVR 79 Back to back IFs from Galatasaray as Feghouli joins Belhanda in bagging an IF, his reason a hat-trick enough said really.
Krzysztof Piatek – ST – OVR 70 The Milan forward is showing his early season form with Genoa is no fluke as continue to shows his form for Milan too, with him having a recent MOTM Card this IF may struggle to happen but feel he’s got a good shout with a OTW item too and got an 8 on Gazzetta which is hard to knock too and have an IF with an upcoming boost too this IF may be even more appealing.
Diego Castro – LM – OVR 75 The Perth Glory winger always seems to bag an IF most FIFAs and looks the case at last for 1 goal and 1 assist, while Keogh got 2 goals and 1 assist in the game, we’ve went for Castro due to his gold card.
Teji Savanier – CM – OVR 72 The Nimes player has been an impressive outlet for them this season and looks set for his 1st IF with 1 goal and an impressive rating which may have a boost on it with him likely for an upgrade too we suspect a gold card, so the IF may be 80-82 rated as a result compared to the initial 78-79, so see what happens.
Angel Mena – RM – OVR 72 The Club Leon forward was impressive in bagging 2 goals and 1 assist as he keeps his form going over the last month and possibly up there for potentially the most consistent across the world as he was unlucky to not get a SIF so quickly last week but feel can’t avoid this week.
RESERVES
Roly Bonevacia – CM – OVR 70 The Western Sydney Wanderers mid bagged 2 goals & 1 assist which looks set to make him the 2nd IF from the A-League this week.
Dalmau – ST – OVR 68 The Heracles ST joins Osman in back to back IFs for the club, with 4 goals & 1 assist easiest pick for TOTW this week.
Carlos Bejarano -GK – OVR 68 Over to Colombia for this pick where Bejarano made 8 saves and kept a clean sheet with lack of standout GK’s this choice looks likely but time will tell despite the league and rating.
Alexis Vega – ST – OVR 66 The Guadalajara ST joins the hat-trick club with 3 goals doing more than enough to bag himself an IF.
Abdulfatah Adam – ST – OVR 62 Looks a silver IF could be inbound whether this be a Silver defender or forward we’ve opted for Adam who got a hat-trick and done enough to join TOTW23.
